Where does the money go?

Straight to you. Buyers pay through the Stripe account you connect (cards, wallets and local methods via your gateway) — Sellway never holds seller funds and settles nothing itself. Payout timing follows your gateway's schedule, and every order stays listed in your dashboard with its gateway reference.

What does it cost?

Start free: create products, share checkout links and track orders with no plugin to maintain. The paid plan adds your custom domain with free SSL, offers, invoices and checkout themes, plus priority support. Your gateway's own transaction fee always applies on top.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Point your domain's DNS to Sellway (we show the exact records in Dashboard → Domains), and SSL is issued automatically. Until then your checkout links work on the default Sellway address, so you can start selling immediately.

How do orders, invoices and refunds work?

Every checkout creates an order you can track, filter and download from the dashboard, with tax invoices for your buyers. Refunds are issued back through the original payment method via your gateway — open the order, hit refund, and the buyer sees it on their statement within their bank's usual timeline. Your gateway keeps its transaction fee on refunds, so the drawer shows exactly what you get back before you confirm. Exchanges create a linked $0 replacement order instead. You can also refund as store credit (with an optional bonus %) — the buyer spends it at their next checkout instead of getting money back on their card.

How do shipping, markets and labels work?

Shipping is flat-rate profiles you define (base price plus a per-extra-item charge, with one typed rate row per market and an optional free-shipping threshold on each row). Markets are groups of countries that share a currency and prices — most shops need only one. Your home market is created when Stripe connects, and new markets start as drafts until their rate and shipping rates are set. A country in no live market cannot buy: selling worldwide is something you turn on, never something you get by accident. You enter prices in your home currency and set a rate for each other market; anything you do not set stays calculated, and anything you type is marked Custom. Sellway doesn't look up exchange rates. Weight and size are entered when you ship. Labels are bought through your own Shippo account, so postage bills to you — Sellway never marks it up. Stripe converts your payouts at its own rate and fee. Buyers pay import duties on delivery for international orders. Need a parcel back? Buy a return label from the refund drawer (buyer address → your ship-from) and share the tracking link with the buyer. Carrier pickup is scheduled from the order (date, window and location type) for eligible labels — USPS Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, international and returns, or DHL Express. The confirmation code is shown on the shipment; to change or cancel a scheduled pickup, contact the carrier with that code.

I already sell somewhere else. Can I move?

Most sellers move in an afternoon: recreate your products (name, price, image), set up coupons to match your old promos, connect the same payment account, and swap your old links for Sellway checkout links. Your customer list can be imported from Dashboard → Customers.

What photos can I upload for a product?

Use JPG, PNG or WebP photos. Large photos are resized automatically, and every stored photo stays under 2 MB — anything still too large is refused with a plain message. Each gallery holds up to 5 photos (60 per product). Add photos in the Photos & variants step; with variants, use Add photos on the parent card so buyers see each choice's own photos when they pick it. Choices without photos use your main photos.

What is a parent variant?

The parent variant is the one buyers pick first, like Color. It is pinned first, holds per-choice photos, and organizes the Turn off what you don't sell card. Changing it removes its photos and turns all combinations back on. Removing it does the same. Your main photos stay.

What does "not offered" mean for a combination?

Mark a combination not offered when it does not exist (for example Blue in XL). It is separate from sold out: not-offered combinations can't be bought, are skipped in prices, stock totals and offers, and lines already in a buyer's cart are removed with a notice.

How does stock work for products with variants?

Stock is kept per combination (for example White in Large has its own count). A blank cell means Not set, and Not set counts as 0, so the combination shows as sold out until you enter a number. At 0 the combination is sold out — buyers cannot order past zero. Turn Track stock off if you make items to order: buyers can always order and no numbers are kept. The Stock page under Products lists every combination lowest first for daily upkeep: Add stock puts more units on the shelf, Set stock writes the exact number you see.
